Antidote Arboriculture is built on the competence of our team and our profound dedication towards urban trees. We have assembled a passionate team of professional foresters, forest technicians, arborist and talented students to offer consultation services and tree care. We cover the Montérégie and Outaouais regions at all times of the year and we are also available in other areas for consulting or presentations.

Bruno Chicoine, ing.f., M.Sc.F.

Mr. Chicoine holds a bachelor’s degree as well a Master’s degree in forest sciences from the Faculté de foresterie de l’Université de Moncton. He was first introduced to urban forestry while working on urban tree surveys in Longueuil and Laval (1999). Later, he continued work in this field at the city of Dieppe (2004) and at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in Rome (2007-2008) as well as with Trees Canada (2009-2010). From 2010 to 2014, Bruno practices urban tree management at the Division of arboriculture of the City of Montréal. He gained valuable experience and updated knowledge in the fight against the Emerald Ash Borer management strategies. With training in tree risk assessment and monetary valuation of trees, his insight can help customers in the most complex cases.


Cédric Bertrand, ing.f.

Mr. Bertrand is a professional forester (QC) and one of the rare certified arborist in Quebec. He holds a bachelor’s degree in forest sciences from the Université de Moncton (2008), a graduate degree in sustainable forest carbon management from the Université du Québec at Chicoutimi (2013) and he is currently working on a Master’s degree in biology at the Université de Québec en Outaouais. From 2010 to 2015, he worked at Trees Canada where he consulted on many plantation projects. As a resident of the Ottawa region, Cedric often contributes to Emerald Ash Borer inspections as well as phytosanitary assessments in his region. He is passionate about tree conservation and a proud member of Antidote Arboriculture’s team since 2014.
